Exciting Opportunities for Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students
The American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry (ASAP) is thrilled to announce its annual Lois T. Flaherty Best Paper Award and the Best Poster Session Award Competitions. These competitions are open to any qualified resident, fellow, or medical student, regardless of ASAP membership.
Winners will receive cash awards. They will also have the chance to present their work at our 2026 annual meeting. This meeting will be held virtually, in conjunction with the 2026 APA annual meeting in San Francisco.
Membership in The American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry is not required. However, we welcome trainees and offer them their first year of membership at no charge. Subsequent years of membership are available at a 75% discount over our regular dues. In return, members receive all the benefits, including our journal subscription valued at $195 and discounts on other events!
Submission Guidelines
To be considered for these awards, the topics of the paper or posters must be relevant to the field of Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry. This ensures that the work presented is aligned with the interests and needs of our community.
